Why do people think that if Star Wars were to get another movie, it automatically has to be a trilogy? Indiana Jones got a new movie and the total count is four, perhaps five. Star Wars doesn't need three more movies to be told when two or even one could be enough. I always wanted to see a good Star Wars duology. Just because something is Star Wars, doesn't mean it has to be associated with three.

yeah but its just tradition XD people like tradition! then it could be a trilogy of trilogies! that sounds cooler than two trilogies and a movie.... XD
plus he has multiple story lines going at once he'll end up needing more than one movie or two.

Only franchise that could have achieved a "trilogy of trilogies" is Conan. Also, J.J. Abrams should have directed Star Wars.
